A student/study visa must be obtained if the duration of study is more than 90 days

Such a visa is not a residence permit. Issued for the term of study, maximum for 1 year with the possibility of extension. A study visa is issued for any type of study – from language courses to schools and universities

Legal residence in sunny Spain and other benefits of a study visa:

  • The ability to take your family with you (for adult students)
  • The financial requirements are lower than for obtaining a residence permit
  • Residing in Spain for the duration of the study
  • You can apply for the right to work no more than 4 hours a day

Who can get a student visa for Spain?

  There are no restrictions on the age of applicants student visa to Spain. But when applying, the risk of rejection is higher for students older than 30 years. We will assess the risks in a specific situation and recommend where it is best to apply for a visa just for you:

1. Children from 4 years old to study in a regular or specialized school in Spain

This gives the child:

  • high level of knowledge;
  • comfortable learning environment;
  • wide opportunities in the future.

2. Adults of all ages to learn Spanish

What it does:

  • Quality Spanish immersion learning
  • The right to work and live in Spain while studying

3. Adults for vocational training or business school

What it does:

  • a chance to increase income and expand your network of contacts;
  • the right to work 20 hours a week and live in Spain while studying.

Many consider a visa as a way to move to Spain for permanent residence. Therefore, the Consulate is suspicious of some of student visa applicants
